Driven by demand from Kerela, Rolls-Royce is planning to expand its dealership network to Chennai and Kochi by 2015. Until last year, Tamil Nadu was one of the biggest markets for the company in India, but Kerala is edging past, having sold 25 more cars than TN last year. In fact, RR recently delivered a set of three, customized Elongated Wheelbase Phantoms to one wealthy family in “God’s own country”!
Currently. Hyderabad is the only southern city to host a Rolls-Royce outlet. A couple of more outlets would meet pent up demand from Kerela, TN and even Bangalore.
In other news, Rolls-Royce recently caught their biggest fish in history- an order of 30 bespoke extended wheel base Phantoms by one Hong Kong-based-luxury entrepreneur Stephen Hung for his still to be opened Louis XIII hotel in Macau. Read more about that story here.
