What we have here is a set of exclusive images of the soon to be launched Hero Xtreme Sports, a more powerful variant of the Xtreme which is currently on sale.
So what’s new here? Though it’ll carry the same 149.2cc motor from the current Xtreme, power has been bumped up a smidgen and now stands at 15.2 bhp, in comparison to the 14.2hp of the current Xtreme. The torque figure remains the same, and stands at 12.8 Nm.

A revised, sportier instrument console.
However, the increased output comes exactly at 8500rpm like the current model, so we’re expecting a little more shove here. Also worth mentioning- this is the same engine which is used in CB Unicorn/ Trigger from Honda, albeit with lesser power outputs.
A new exhaust canister comes in for the Xtreme Sports, and so does a split seat.
Apart from that new Hero Xtreme Sports gets a newer set graphics (we’re not surprised), a set of ‘Sports’ logos on the fuel tank extensions, a sexier split seat, an under body cowl and a freshly minted, sporty instrument console- a welcome change from the slightly weird looking setup on the Xtreme and a revised exhaust canister. The fairing and head-lamp receives a minor update as well, with a set of LED pilot lamps completing the show.
The Hero Xtreme Sports will be launched shortly in the market and like the current Xtreme, will also get an optional rear-disc brake equipped variant- like the one pictured here. Stay tuned to Motoroids for more updates on the Hero Xtreme Sports.
