Luxury lifestyle brand, Tonino Lamborghini Group will soon launch a Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA) 4G smartphone named the 88 Tauri. The 88 Tauri will be the world’s first DSDA 4G phone that keeps both SIMs active simultaneously.
The phone will be powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 3GB RAM and will come loaded with Android KitKat 4.4.4 as stock. The screen will be a 5-inch full-HD display with an anti-fingerprint coating and a 10-point touch panel. At the back of this smartphone will be a 20-megapixel camera while an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie snapper will stand at the front. The power backup, with 3,400 mAH battery, comes up to 1,000 hours of standby.
But as the Lamborghini supercars, buying this super smartphone will also require deep pockets. The official prices would be revealed at the launch event scheduled in January 2015 but just to put things in perspective, the currently selling Tonino Lamborghini Antares smartphone retails for a hefty USD 4,000!
The Tonino Lamborghini Group was founded in Bologna, Italy, in 1981. The headquarters is located in the Palazzo Del Vignola near Bologna.
